I’ve learned about the magic of emergency flashers in cars. If you can’t find an open parking place, but you REALLY need to get that pastry from Mlinar, just stop in the middle of the road and put on your flashers. This makes it OK.
Again, if there’s no parking space open, and you need to pick up a friend from their apartment, just pull up on the sidewalk and put your flashers on. Now, “It’s fine!”
Even if can’t park somewhere because there’s literally no parking allowed, put on your flashers and you’re good.
Please don’t try this if you live in the U.S., because I’m pretty sure they don’t understand the magical emergency flasher rule. I’ll update you once I give this a try. I’ll either share a picture of it, or I’ll be asking for bail money. 🙂
